Welcome to Prayer Days 2008!

We were led in worship by Pastor Mareks Ignats (r) and the band from Talsi Lutheran Church. The songs often tied the themes of the day together in very special ways.

We experienced heart-felt singing and praise to God! The two ladies in the center, Inta Feldmane and Inese Slesere, serve in the Latvian Parliament.
|

Various people led in prayer as God moved in their hearts. Pastor Slava Altuhov, on the right, serves with Latvian Christian Mission.
|

Steve Macchia gave messages that challenged our souls.

After each teaching session, the whole room divided into small groups for discussion.
|

We were especially grateful for the young people who attended, including the 13 students from the new Baltic Pastoral Institute (BPI).
|

Several people spoke about their ministries in Latvia, including Steve Janz with the new ministry Camp-in-a-Box.
|

We prayed in small groups for churches and ministries in Latvia. The couple on the right are missionaires from Brazil, Hans and Elaine Berzins.

Our Partners staff worked hard and even had a little time for coffee between tasks. (l-r) Enoks Nelands, Signe Kurga, Dace Supule (BPI Staff), and Vineta Zale. Vineta also served as interpreter for Prayer Days.

BPI student Janis Akmens expresses his appreciation that he and his wife could attend Prayer Days. He said that his personal prayer life drastically changed as a result of Prayer Days 2007.
