Bridge Builders International is a faith-based Christian charity. Since 1994, we have been registered as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation by the state of Oregon. We are able to conduct our work and ministry because of the generous contributions of individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations. We are a multi-denominational organization and do not receive any denominational subsidy. We also do not receive US or Latvian government funding.
We will issue you a tax-deductible receipt for every gift received that does not represent an exchange for the provision of goods or services.
We invite you to join the faithful family of donors who make this ministry possible. You can give seven ways:
You can give regular or special gifts by making your
checks payable to:
Bridge Builders International
PO Box 625
Philomath OR 97370
You can set up an automatic monthly contribution from your checking account to BBI by completing the "Monthly Automatic Giving Plan" form. More and more of our donors enjoy this giving plan because it saves time, money and insures consistency. (See link - Automatic Funds Transfer Form - PDF or Word Document )
You can give regular or special gifts using one of the four listed major cards by selecting the link here for online credit card contribution or by calling our office at 541-929-5627 and giving your authorization to either Naomi or Jennie.

Please know that if you intend to donate to one of BBI's partner ministries with a credit card, BBI will reduce the amount of the donation by 4% in order to pay for the credit card processing fees. This reduction is over and above the standard 10% administrative fee that BBI withholds for non-credit card donations to partner ministries.
You can give "in kind" gifts to BBI. An "in kind" gift is something of value that BBI could either use directly or sell and use the proceeds for its work and ministry. We have received airline frequent flyer mileage, stamp collections, coin collections, furniture, computer hardware and software, and automobiles. We are open to receiving other types of gifts as well, including real estate. Please know that IRS regulations do not allow us to fix a value on "in kind" gifts.
You can give securities, whether or not they have appreciated in value. We have the ability to receive, buy and sell stocks and bonds through our Charles Schwab account. It is BBI's practice to sell donated securities as soon as they are received. Over the years, BBI has been greatly blessed by these kinds of gifts. Please call our office to discuss specifics with Naomi.
You can name Bridge Builders International in your will as one of the worthy causes that you would like to receive a final gift. BBI has gratefully received several such gifts which have been put to very fine use. BBI has a fine working relationship with professional organizations with expertise in wills and estate planning. Please call our office for details.
You can attend and/or invite friends to one of BBI's annual celebration banquets. These are marvelous evenings of sharing, music, information and opportunity. For information on this year's banquets, please contact the BBI office, 541-929-5627 .
