SEVEN WAYS BBI HELPS
PLANT CHURCHES IN LATVIA.
1. BBI facilitates the establishment of sister-church partnerships between American churches and Latvian church plants, having 38 partnerships already in place of which 8 are focused on the establishment of new churches.
2. BBI is deeply involved in the Tilza Evangelism and Church Planting Training Center which exists to train men and women to evangelize and plant churches in Latvia and beyond.
3. BBI is allied with The Alliance of Saturation Church Planting, working closely with them to train Latvian nationals in effective church planting.
4. BBI encourages Latvian and Russian churches to plant daughter churches through building partnerships and coordinating training.
5. BBI organizes periodic high-profile evangelistic events such as the nationwide HOPE 99 campaign which resulted in 5 new church plants with 2 now partnered with American sister-churches.
6. BBI provides a mechanism for church planters to receive financial support from abroad through monthly wires to Latvia. American givers receive tax-deductible receipts and the assurance that funds reach the intended recipient.
7. BBI provides opportunities to a select group of potential church planters to study abroad through partnerships with institutions such as Western Seminary in Oregon and San Jose Christian College in California.
