The skyline of Riga is one of the most distinctive panoramas in Europe. Riga has been a center of international trade and culture since the 13th century, a hub of the north, a bridge between East and West. Riga has been called the Queen of the Baltics and the Paris of the East.
In 2004, Thomas Kinkade went to Latvia with Bridge Builders International. During that memorable trip he created five paintings en plein air (in the open air), including this impressionistic depiction of Riga’s panorama. To read more about the trip, click here.
BBI is pleased to offer 16’ x 20” Limited Edition Standard Numbered, and Artist Proof canvases, and 16” x 20” giclee prints of the Sunset Over Riga, Latvia to requesting donors who give suggested amounts as indicated in the order form.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the ministry of Bridge Builders International in Latvia. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The IRS requires the cost of premium offers to be deducted from donations.
Canvas Lithographs.
• The limited edition canvas lithographs are available in
two varities:
o (S/N) Signed and Numbered; only 395 have been
produced by the Thomas Kinkade Company.
o (AP) Artist proof. AP editions are produced in lesser
quantities and are more collectible.
Frame
• You may also select framed or unframed for your canvas
selection.
• If you select framed please note your two options
o Michelangelo Gold or
o Rembrandt Walnut.
Giclee prints
• “Giclee” refers to a high resolution, superb quality printing
technique.
• The giclee prints are unframed.
• The full dimensions of the print, including the 2” white
border, are 20” x 24”.
• A limited number of prints autographed by Thomas Kinkade
are also available.
