Dear sisters and brothers intercessors!

    Sunday, May 30 was the day of Prayer for the Festival of Hope. We thank each person who prayed and fasted for Latvia on this day. We already see the Holy Spirit working. We have no doubt that God is changing our country. This encourages us to pray more fervently for the Festival of Hope in Latvia.

This week:

We thank God:

1. ✴    For the Day of Prayer and all who fasted and prayed blessings for Latvia. May the Lord send His blessings and respond to the prayers of His children.
   

2. ✴    For the telephone prayer chain that was formed. Every intercessor receives a phone call with a single prayer request. That person then calls two others, and then they call two others. In this ay within 7 minutes it is possible to personally contact 1000 people.
   

3. ✴    Thank God also for the opportunity to speak about this prayer chain on Christian Radio.
   

4. ✴    For the youth concert “HOPE” in Riga on June 5. About 2,000 young people heard amazing music at the Christian Center, “Prieka Vēsts.” The youth were also encouraged by the Festival director Viktor Hamm. Please continue to pray for these youth so that they would bring at least 3 more people with them during each day of the Festival of Hope, November 5, 6 and 7.
   

5. ✴    For God’s blessings on the Festival of Hope in Brazil this past month. Over 90 thousand people heard the Good News in the local stadium, many of whom repented and turned to the Lord. Another 40 thousand children heard the Good News of Jesus Christ at the Children’s Festival.
   

Please pray:

1. ✴    For the Technical committee and their leader Juris Morics. May God help this committee prepare all the equipment necessary so everyone would be able to see and hear well during the Festival.
   

2. ✴    For the meeting of all members of all committees at the Arena Riga for a prayer dinner on June 11. The aim is to pray together in the Arena, at the exact place where the call to repentance will be proclaimed during the Festival.
   

3. ✴    The Bible teaches us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122:6). We pray especially for the meetings this week between representatives of the Israeli Knesset and the Latvian Saeima. Please pray for Latvia to bless Israel.
